Featuring Turkish rugs, plush king sized beds and romantic fire pits, our authentic canvas tipis offer rustic luxury with an eye for style. Just steps from your door, a trailhead provides access to spectacular Armagosa Canyon with its teeming wealth of birds and wildlife. Fun for families as well as couples, our tipis are 22 feet in diameter and accommodate up to 4. Breakfast is offered at the charming 1920's Ranch House for an additional fee.

Tipis are traditional nomadic housing for many indigenous cultures the world over. Ours are modeled on the Tipis of the Plains Indians of North America.

Special attention is paid to decor for each tipi. Turkish rugs and rich natural colors highlight their signature rustic yet luxurious style.

Bathrooms are shared, and located just steps from your Tipi in our charming 1920s cottage. A sitting room and library with board games, maps of the area, and plenty of books, are available for guest use.

All tipis have either propane or wood burning fire pits, and cooling systems for summer comfort.

Step outside and find yourself surrounded with pristine natural splendor. The Tipis have great views of the dramatic mud hills surrounding China Ranch.
