We are low tech! - The Ranch House Inn boasts one clock and one phone per facility. We intentionally have no TV or radio reception. Cell phones do not work here. (And we hope they never do.) Internet is not easily available. Dinners are long and leisurely. Conversation is an art form. Counting shooting stars is entertainment. And the quiet. (You can actually hear the wind whooshing beneath the wings of birds that you can barely see in our clear blue skies.)

Amenities

Our sitting area, dining room and bathrooms are located inside our charming 1920's cottage. We have books about our area, games and puzzles. Our backyard has lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery - a birder’s paradise. We are just a short walk to the China Ranch Gift Shop and Bakery and to the trail head of the spectacular Amargosa Canyon. Breakfast is offered at the charming 1920's Ranch House for $10 per person.

To secure your reservation, a valid credit card is required. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. A deposit of 50% of your total stay will be charged to your credit card at time of booking.

Emergency Services. The Southern Inyo Fire Protection District is located in Tecopa Hot Springs and is on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This includes fire protection, ambulance and EMT services. They work with Mercy Air to provide helicopter transportation to Las Vegas hospitals. The Inyo County Sherriff's Departmtnt provides law enforcement and Search and Rescue. 911 is available by landline phone only.
