A
stay at the Ranch House Inn is very much like a visit to long-lost kin. There
is a feeling of comfort and familiarity in this historic cottage (circa 1920).
Innkeepers Nick and Cynthia Kienitz are busy in the kitchen or on hikes with
the guests. Often, our local geologists, artist, or ranch owners will join in
the spirited dinner conversation on our screened porches. This getaway boasts
one clock, one phone and no TV or radio. Beepers and cell phones do not work
here by the way. And don't even ask to check your email! If you let it, the
inn and its surroundings will bestow a brief yet profound brush with the mysterious
Mojave's elegant wonders, past and present.
